| Lizard Tongue's Kenworth K123 This early 1970's Kenworth truck belonged to Fred Bruhn and worked as part of his Sand and Gravel operation in Logan, NM. As listed elsewhere in this site, Fred provided some of the trucks used for the movie. The truck and trailer were not modified from their everyday use and returned to his operation after filming was complete. A twin to this truck owned by Bill Davis was modified to somewhat look like a Mack Cruiseliner and was used as Pig Pen's "stunt" truck. The picture below was one of the other Bruhn trucks that appeared in the film. The driver who played Lizard Tongue was a stuntman named Tommy J. Huff. He also appeared in films as Phillip Simms. He was also the "Van Driver" that drove the Bushkin moving van in the Season 1 Episode 1 Pilot of CHiPs. |
