The Surviving Duel Truck

The surviving Peterbilt tanker used in Steven Speilberg's 1971 movie "Duel" is alive an well, nestled in its new home near St. Louis, MO.   The truck was purchased in Los Angeles and brought back to St. Louis in October 2005. I am currently reworking some of the truck's mechanical, air and electrical systems to help make the truck more reliable.  Keep up to date on the progress, affectionately dubbed "Operation Jee-Yum".   Ol' Rusty is currently in storage for the winter at an off-site location.  Please do not try to stop by and see the truck.  We'll make attempts to bring the truck to American Truck Historical Society regional and national shows.  Thanks for stopping by!
