This Unofficial website is devoted to the Mack Western RS700L's and other trucks that were used during the production of the 1978 Sam Peckinpah movie CONVOY featuring Kris Kristofferson, Ali McGraw, Ernest Borgnine, Bert Young and Franklin Ajaye, to name a few.

The very fact that you've found this website means your probably a pretty big truck enthusiast. If you're like me, you've had a nearly unhealthy infatuation with the trucks in this movie. To the best of my ability, and with the assistance of fellow crackpots, I have assembled all of the factual information possible about these trucks and posted them here for no good reason.

I have, over my wife's objections, spent hundreds of hours pouring through the full length DVD (Region 2) to detail what Macks were used where. As is typical with most vehicle-based movies, there were multiple vehicles used. Arguments are welcomed, but I'll bet you a dozen chocolate chip cookies that I'm "dead-on balls accurate."
